Maintenance of Chain
The chain should be maintained in good working condition. Try to avoid the dust, sediment and so on to get in. In case of inevitable, remove it in time in order to avoid premature wear of the chain.
The chain should be away from all kinds of chemical drugs such as acid and alkali, so as to prevent the surface corrosion of parts prematurely.
Precautions for Chain Installation
1. All transmission chains must be on the same central line and not be allowed to deviate. Otherwise, chain transmission machinery and chain will be worn down prematurely.
2. The chain drive requires two shafts to be installed horizontally, and the chain drive requires two axes to be arranged in parallel, which will not be allowed to deviate, otherwise it will cause the chain transmission machinery and chain to wear out prematurely.
3. In order to ensure that the chain drive is stable, the sprocket mounting accuracy must be ensured. The driving sprockets do not allow tilting phenomenon or offset phenomenon, otherwise the chain and sprocket will be worn prematurely.
4. The circlip (lock) on the hinge pin must be stuck into the groove of the pin. The cotter, T pin must be tight to right place (must be greater than 60 °), to ensure the safety of the chain operation.
Lubrication
During actually running, it is very important to lubricate the chain, especially in the case of high chain transmission requirement. If the lubrication is not complete, the chain with precision design will not have good effect in use, and the service life of the chain will also have a great impact. In order to lengthen the service life of the chain, please pay special attention to the lubrication of the chain transmission parts.
1. The purpose of oil and grease is primarily designed to suppress the wear and corrosion of chain, because abrasion occurs mostly at bending parts between the hinge pin and sleeve, so lubricating oil must be injected in this region.
2. In the slack part of the chain drive, please inject the lubricating oil into the gap between the outer chain plate and the inner chain plate. At the same time, inject a proper amount of lubricating oil between the sleeve and roller, requiring the oil to be filled once a week.
